Hi there.Im new to this site and see that you posted this question a while ago,but just incase you havent found out yet.I think the movie you are looking for might be Rider On The Rain.A film of his from the late sixties,its quite a slow moving film and I found it hard to stick with it.OH!! and ofcourse it stars Jill Ireland.I hope this has been of some help,but by now you probably found out the name yourself.Kind regards.
